Hello! Finally a new weblog again! This week I have an interesting subject to talk about the webwill! We spend a huge amount of our lives on-line. We socialize in online networks, we search for information and we use different types of online services to fulfill our needs. Everybody knows that we will die one day. It can happen tomorrow, next week or maybe you will become very old! What happens to all the data like photos, weblogs and social network accounts after we are gone? A Swedish student (Lisa Granberg) thought about this question and came up with an answer. She created the WebWill.
" WebWill allows users to prepare messages on Twitter, Facebook and Myspace which will be automatically updated if they come to an untimely end. After the system is informed of your mortal demise (from a pre-registered contact) it then updates your services which can include a blog post or spooky email to a list of friends."
Additional explanation on video
In short, My Webwill is a secure online service that allows you to make decisions about your Internet accounts after your death. It sounds a little bit scary, but I think it is also a smart idea! Would you consider signing up for this new service?
